Kejutan Piala Oscar 2022: Will Smith Pukul Chris Rock di Atas Panggung - Laman 2 dari 2

Usai penamparan yang diterima Chris Rock saat membacakan nominasi Oscar 2022, muncul kabar jika sang komedian telah mengajukan laporan ke polisi atas kejadian tak menyenangkan itu. Namun ternyata kabar burung itu pun dibantah langsung oleh pihak kepolisian Los Angeles (LAPD).

Lewat keterangan resminya yang dilansir detik.com dari Variety disebutkan jika tak ada laporan yang diajukan atas kejadian tersebut.

“LAPD melakukan penelusuran atas sebuah kejadian antara dua orang selama acara Academy Awards. Insiden itu melibatkan salah satu pihak yang menampar pihak lainnya. Para pihak yang terkait pun menolak untuk melaporkan hal itu ke polisi. Jika pihak yang terlibat berkeinginan untuk melaporkannya, LAPD akan selalu siap untuk menyelidiki kasus itu lebih jauh lagi,” tulisnya.

Pada saat jeda iklan beberapa aktor pun tampak mencoba untuk menenangkan Will Smith yang tengah menangis karena tak kuasa menahan emosinya itu. Ada Denzel Washington hingga Tyler Perry yang mengusap-usap bahunya dan berbincang dengannya.

Jada Pinkett Smith memang tampil plontos karena mengalami alopecia, salah satu kondisi rambut rontok karena autoimun. Wanita 50 tahun itu akhirnya membagikan kisah tentang penyakitnya itu di Instagramnya, Selasa (28/12/2021) lalu. “Kini di titik ini aku hanya bisa tertawa,” ucapnya.

“Kalian tahu bahwa aku selama ini berjuang dengan alopecia. Dan lihatlah kini, semuanya terlihat. Dan ini akan lebih sulit bagiku untuk disembunyikan. Jadi aku berpikir untuk membagikannya sehingga kalian tidak bertanya-tanya lagi,” tambah Jada Pinkett Smith.

Dalam keterangan videonya di Instagram tersebut, Jada pun mengatakan bahwa dia akhirnya mengungkapkan kondisinya agar tidak ada yang menyebutnya operasi otak.

“Mama akan menurunkan kulit kepala jadi tidak ada satupun yang berpikir bahwa dia melakukan operasi otak atau semacamnya. Aku dan alopecia ini akan menjadi teman. Titik!” pungkasnya.

Kali ini Academy Awards dipandu oleh Wanda Sykes, Regina Hall, dan Amy Schumer. Selain itu Oscar 2022 juga ada penampilan dari Beyonce (King Richard), Billie Eilish dan Finneas (No Time to Die), Reba McEntire (Four Good Days), dan Sebastián Yatra (Encanto ). Selain itu, ada suguhan spesial di mana hadir Band All-Star yang terdiri dari drummer Blink 182, Travis Barker, Sheila E serta pianis Robert Glasper.

Dari sektor nominasi, pertarungan sengit dijalani oleh film The Power of the Dog dan CODA yang sama-sama bersaing di kategori utama. Namun Dune justru yang berhasil membawa paling banyak piala. Dan CODA jadi film terbaik.
